The Holy Family flees to Egypt. Joseph goes on foot and the Virgin Mary rides on a donkey with the Christ child in her arms (Matthew 2:13-15). In the background we see a cornfield with reapers and Herod's army searching for the Christ child to kill him. The print has a Latin caption; it is part of a series on the life of Christ.
