In the temple, Simeon kisses the Christ child. The prophetess Hannah sits beside him. The Virgin Mary kneels before Simeon. Joseph stands next to him and holds a basket with two doves in his hands to serve as an offering (Luke 2:22-39). The print has a Latin caption; it is part of a series on the life of Christ.
