In the temple, Christ sits in the left foreground, pointing two of his disciples to a veiled poor widow. Richly dressed people are running towards the offering box to throw in lots of money. The widow has thrown in only two coins, but Christ says that is more than the rich do because she has given of her poverty. Below the scene a reference in Latin to the Bible text in Mar. 12:41.
