The evangelist Mark sits under a tree and writes his gospel. Next to him is the lion, his attribute. Back left is the resurrection of Christ, who escapes from the mouth of hell with devils. At the back right in Ezekiel's vision, the prophet sees the valley full of barren dead bones come to life. Below the scene is a two-line text in Latin.
