This plaque, engraved by Dutch artist Frederik Jeltsema, depicts a mythological scene with the goddess of love, Venus and her son Amor or Cupid. Cupid is depicted as a naked, chubby boy with wings and a bow with which he shoots arrows into the hearts of men and gods to make them fall in love. Venus sits on a couch in the depiction and holds an arrow in her hand.
