About Griet Depoorter
Following her passion for knitting, Ghent architect Griet Depoorter launched wolvis in 2013 after working for years in architecture studios. Ready to explore new horizons, she began experimenting with both traditional and innovative materials and techniques. Griet became fascinated with knitting while studying at the SASK Academy in Sint-Niklaas. Instead of continuing to spend nights working on her knitting machine and her days in an architect’s office, in 2016 she decided to concentrate fully on her brand. But her background in architecture is still evident in her designs.
