Art should be accessible to everyone. At MSK, we aim to provide visitors with visual impairments an equal opportunity to enjoy art. That's why the free audio guide also includes 16 audio descriptions accompanying top works from the collection.
Through audio descriptions, we bring the collection to life in a descriptive way. These stops offer more than just art history; they also provide slow, clear, and detailed descriptions of what can be seen in the works. Additionally, audio stops are available at the tactile plates, providing special instructions for exploring them through touch.
The audio descriptions are intended to support our visitors with visual impairments, but everyone is welcome to use them. Give this approach of 'slow looking' a try to delve deeper into the observation of an artwork.
The guide is available in English, Dutch and French. The use of the audio guide is included with a museum ticket.
