    Provenance research WOII

During the Second World War, many works of art and cultural goods were left behind, robbed or stolen from public and private collections. A large number were traced after the war and returned to their rightful owners. However, the provenance of some goods remains unclear. There are 4 artworks in the MSK for which provenance research is ongoing.
