Among the various editions that appeared after the extraordinary first edition of Les Villages illusoires by Emile Verhaeren (1895; with illustrations by George Minne), the version with etchings by Ramah from 1912-13 is one of the most moving. For this edition, the artist made fifteen etchings. Both editions mentioned are kept in the special collections of the museum library.
