This medal by Czech sculptor Stanislas Sucharda depicts the Oracle of Delphi in an art nouveau style. The obverse shows the kneeling priestess, the Pythia, in front of a cliff in which a mask-like face has been sculpted. On the reverse, the face is central, with eyes closed. The priestess leans forward and presses her ears against the statue's mouth to listen.
