This art medal, designed by the French medallist Jean-Paul Aubé, was presented at the Salon de la Medaille during the World Fair in Brussels in 1910. The obverse allegorically depicts a breeze in the form of a naked figure descending from the clouds to blow sailboats forward. On the right in the distance is a lighthouse, on the left the sun is setting. At the bottom of the cut-off, the title "La Brise" appears. The reverse, depicting a sailboat on a turbulent sea, was presented separately. (See 1911-U-2)
