This plaque portrays Prince Leopold of Belgium, the future King Leopold III, at the age of ten. The society of medal friends had the plaque engraved by Franz Vermeylen. It was distributed to the members in January 1911 and 56 silver and 368 bronze examples were struck. On the reverse side, a toddler is depicted kissing Brussels.
