This medal with the wedding dedication on the obverse, could be purchased from the Monnaie de Paris. A custom text could be engraved on the reverse. An accurate dating of this medal is not possible because Vernon engraved a wedding medal twice, one in 1882 and one in 1899. They were both exhibited at the Grand Palais during the great retrospective in 1914.
