This plaque was issued by the Monnaie de Paris after the tragic death of the artist Daniel Dupuis in November 1899. It was exhibited at the Salon de la Medaille at the Brussels World Fair in 1910. The obverse shows a naked woman looking at a nest in a tree with two little birds on the left. On the back, a child is depicted sitting on the branches of a tree, feeding a little bird.
